We believe our edging / glazing edger pads are about the best in the business, even better than some of the top branded pads.

We keep it very simple:

• Our Blue Cut should cover about 92% of the jobs in a typical lab and 100% if used with a SIP
• Finally, we have our budget range, a quality pad used in hundreds of labs around the world

Following customer demand, we have grown our product range to include a wide range of lab and showroom consumables and test room accessories.

Background

Some of you may know me from my many years at Specsavers and then my time with Birmingham Optical. Using my contacts and experience, I spent a great deal of time researching for the best quality and most economical blocking pads and consumables. I believe I have found them and am pleased to offer them on our website.

At Labpads, we grew the business by word of mouth and have never advertised in any media. It was by offering the best pads, at the best price, with the best service that we grew.

We have a very simple pricing structure and always give FREE delivery regardless of order value.

Labpads supply edger pads for most of the common lab edgers including all Nidek machines and the SE1. We also supply pads for the Essilor edgers including the Neksia as well as Mr Blue and Mr Orange together with Weco, Huvitz and Briot brands of edgers. All our edger pads are correctly sized for each brand.

We have been able to expand our product portfolio and now sell a much wider range of consumables including screws, nose pads, cloths, threadlock, UV and coloured tints, edger blocks and much more.

To help even more, no credit card is required for account customers. You can order on account and, subject to our agreement, we can open an account for you.

• Our rolls are full rolls of 1,000 pads, unlike others that sell just 500 per roll (SIP pads are available in 2.400 per roll and Green Chip 2,000 per roll)
• The larger your order quantity, the cheaper the roll price, helping you to save even more
• All orders are sent out for next day delivery using either DHL courier or Royal Mail signed for service.
• We do not compromise on quality to reach a price point; we believe we sell the best edger pads for the job

General Optics – USA

In May 2022, we forged a very strong partnership with General Optics who are a top class multi-million dollar optical company based in Miami, Florida in the United States. This increased relationship has meant that we have greater access to huge stocks held in our European warehouse and have a direct input into production and processing and the wide range of products manufactured by General Optics.

Labpads is now the official distributor in the UK for General Optics range of edger pads. This means that as well as having large stocks held in the UK, we have quick delivery shipments from our huge European warehouse.

With this relationship in place, we can work with wholesalers, suppliers, and distributors in the UK to produce their own brand edger pads. Feel free to contact us if you are a supplier or distributor and would like your own brand of edger pads.
