About Labpads
Some of you may know me from my many years at Specsavers and my time with Birmingham Optical. Using my contacts and experience, I spent a great deal of time researching for the best quality and most economical blocking pads and consumables. I believe I found them and now offer them through LabPads.
Established 5 years ago, the business has grown through word of mouth and as a result, we have expanded our wide range of lab and showroom consumables and test room accessories.
We supply edger pads for most of the common lab edgers including Nidek, Essilor, Neksia, and Huvitz. We are an official supplier for Visionix, Briot and Weco edgers consumables. All our edger pads are correctly sized for each brand and edger block, we do not have “one size fits all”.
We have a very simple pricing structure and always give FREE delivery regardless of order value. To help even more, no credit card is required for account customers. You can order on account and, subject to our agreement, we will open an account for you.
General Optics – USA
In May 2022, we forged a very strong partnership with General Optics who are a top class multi-million dollar optical company based in Miami, Florida in the United States. This increased relationship has meant that we have greater access to huge stocks held in our European warehouse and have a direct input into production and processing and the wide range of products manufactured by General Optics.

Labpads is the official distributor in the UK for General Optics range of edger pads. As well as having large stocks held in the UK, we can also offer quick delivery shipments from our huge European warehouse. We work with wholesalers, suppliers, and distributors in the UK to produce their own brand edger pads. Feel free to contact us for further details.
